Dont you hate it when you literally spend hours doing really boring, tedious pieces of work and save it on a memory stick, only to find for what ever reason it hasn't saved.
Im now trying to find the motivation to start it all over again because this massive presentation is due on monday... joys of life -_-
This blog is going to be filled with stuff to do with my photography, film editing, things to do with my film making and the odd glimpse of things to do with me. I just want to try and get my talents shown to people other than my class room!!

Ellie Cornell Teaser Trailer
These are teaser trailers I made for the music Video I directed and produced for Miss Ellie Cornell.
I made two versions altogether
ICTV
Ages ago, I was talking about how I was volunteering at ICTV (Ipswich Community TV) in the summer, and I loved every second of it! Unfortunately now with college, coursework, exams and work I don't exactly get a lot of time to go back :(
BUT I found the videos I made for them while I was working for them and thought i'd post em on here :)
Meg's STory (CLICK HERE)
Im not gonna lie, this video is really cheesy and I was suppose to make it for them so they could assess my skill in film making and editing and things like that.
I hope you notice my conventional "Change of angle turn to the side shot" ;)
Music In The Park Teaser Trailer (CLICK HERE)
With this one I had to go through all the footage they had taken at a music in the park event and had to put around four hours worth of footage into around 2 minutes.
I was really proud of this trailer and glad they ended up using it for their website - as well as this I also made a best bits trailer for some of the singers and dancers but still waiting for that to go up :)

Waiting For Work To Start
While I was on the way to work and while I was waiting to go into work I took some photos to pass the time, and also because it was an early frosty morning and everything just looked so photogenic...
Also, all these shots were taken on my phone.

Frost creeping up the bus stop where I catch my bus every weekend morning |

The view from the bus stop, I was trying to get a wider shot of the sky rather than the foreground |
![]() |
I love this shot, im always surprised at what my phone can do! I was trying to get it to focus on the lamps - I like how they subtly stand out |
![]() |
Was able to keep my phone out of focus with some manual settings! |

This is the large abondoned church at the back of where I work, I doubt it'll ever get fixed. Most of it's windows are smashed and the roof has fallen through... Imagine the filming opportunity! |

Experimenting with some DOF |

This is one of my favourites, mainly because of the focusing and framing |
![]() |
I love this shot because of the amount of sky in the frame and the sun that highlights the side of the building just makes the shot seem serene and picturesque. |

A Muffin, An Orange and some Milk
A muffin, an orange and some milk.
This is what I needed after a day like today...
This seems to happen a lot, but once again the laptop with all my software, college work and film projects has decided to stop working. Again.
I gave it into the repair man today to see if it could be fixed.
£600
Yep. six hundred pounds to get it fixed!
Mum called me to tell me the price and she said he said it would be £300 - and I nearly shot myself in the foot and that one, so when I called the repair guy myself and he told me THAT price...
But wait it gets better!
He then went on to say that it'd probably be work getting a new laptop all together which (minimum) will be at least another £200!
Dont really have the money to buy a new mac at the moment but I don't really have the time not to be editing or doing Photoshop or things like that at home - especially since they kick you out of college if you stay late :/
Then yesterday I find that the Suffolk film festival is no more! I also cant find the lead for my external hard drive!
Ive got my interview in less than two weeks and now with no mac, im limited to the work I can do at home...
awesome.
But on the bright side of things, I won £2 on the lottery which will pay for my bus fare to work tomorrow!
:D
